Win Your Rent for a Year $10,000 Rent Credit Giveaway - Full Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility. This contest is open to current Queen’s University, RMC undergraduate and graduate students and Greater Kingston Area community members students who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of KEILTY Realty Management, Queen’s University Athletics, RMC, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win.
2. No Purchase Necessary. No purchase, payment, or lease commitment is required to enter or win this contest.
3. How to Enter. To enter, participants must scan the official contest QR code and complete the entry form, including their name, phone number and email address. Limit one entry per person. Particpants must agree to receive communication via text message.
4. Entry Period. The contest opens when promotional materials are first displayed and closes at the end of the first intermission of the Carr-Harris Cup hockey game on February 7, 2026.
5. Winner Selection. Five finalists will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. Finalists will receive a text message from KEILTY that they have been selected during the second period. An in-game announcement will be made that the text messages are going out. Finalists must respond to the KEILTY text message within 15 minutes of receiving, and meet at the KEILTY booth outside section 110. The finalists will be brought to the ice during second intermission for a brief on-ice challenge (mini sticks) a winner will be declared. KEILTY agrees to present the winner with a ceremonial cheque, and we’ll present a small consulation prize to the other particpants. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6. Prize Details. The grand prize consists of a $10,000 rent credit (“Win Your Rent for a Year”), to be applied toward rent at a KEILTY managed property, subject to availability and standard leasing terms. The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable. If the winner is not currently leasing, the rent credit may be applied upon execution of a qualifying lease. In game scripting will reflect that winners must rent at a KEILTY managed property chosen by KEILTY.
7. Prize Conditions. The rent credit will be applied either as a monthly credit or lump sum, at the discretion of KEILTY Realty Management. Winners are responsible for any costs not covered by the rent credit. The prize must be accepted as awarded. Queen’s University, Queen’s University Athletics & Recreation, The Carr-Harris Cup, RMC and all of the subsidiaries are not responsible or liable for this giveaway, it’s execution, or terms.
9. Consent to Communications. By entering, participants consent to receive communications related to this contest and housing opportunities from KEILTY Realty Management. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
10. Publicity. By accepting the prize, winners agree to allow the use of their names, likenesses, and photographs for promotional purposes related to this contest, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. General Conditions. KEILTY Realty Management reserves the right to verify eligibility, disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules, and modify or cancel the contest if circumstances beyond its control require doing so. All decisions regarding the contest are final.
12. Governing Law. This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws.
