KEILTY is a team of operators, based in Kingston and working across Ontario, with decades of hard-won experience in multi-family, single-family, student housing, retail, and office properties. We manage what we own and we own what we manage.
Every person below works by the same five values: Caring, Curious, Coachable, Competent, Courageous.
From the executive team to the people answering resident calls, everyone at KEILTY works on the same promise: your property, cared for like our own.
President
A.J. founded KEILTY in Kingston in 2003 and has led it since. He grew up in hospitality (his parents owned and operated The Gananoque Inn), sailed competitively for the Canadian national team, and finished a commerce degree at Queen’s University before starting as a commercial real estate broker at J.J. Barnicke, later DTZ and now Cushman & Wakefield.
He chose to own and operate buildings rather than trade them, starting with off-campus student housing in Kingston. Through Varsity Realty, he has developed and managed nearly a billion dollars of student housing and graduated more than 25,000 students through those communities. Kingston’s Chamber of Commerce named him Businessperson of the Year in 2022. He writes most of the owner guides on this site.
Vice President, Rental Management
Brandon leads KEILTY’s rental management operation: leasing, resident care, maintenance dispatch, and the daily service reviews that hold the team to the five values. He is the senior operating contact for owners, from single rentals to full buildings and portfolios.
Vice President, Culture
Laura leads people and culture at KEILTY: hiring, training, and the standards behind the service on this page. Every person on this team was brought on and coached under her watch, which is why the experience stays consistent from city to city.
Controller
Ankit runs the accounting engine behind every owner statement: rent collection, vendor payments, reconciliations, and month-end reporting delivered on a predictable calendar. If it touches your money, it crosses his desk.

Most management companies show you a team page and then route you to a call centre. At KEILTY, the people above are the people on your file. Here is how the work moves through the team.
Your KEILTY onboarding contact
Your agreement, keys, banking, and portal access, handled in one organized pass.
Kimmy, Bryan & Louis, Property Associates
Marketing, showings, screening, and the Ontario standard lease, done properly.
Moira & Sasha, Property Specialists
Resident requests answered the same day, so small issues never become big ones.
Roger Gagnon, Building Services
Repairs, turnovers, and seasonal maintenance, watched all year round.
Jasmeet, Ankit & Diseree, Accounting
Rent collected, vendors paid, and a clear owner statement every month.
Call, email, or portal message: a named person gets back to you the same business day, not a ticket number.
You know who manages your property, and they know you, your building, and its history.
A clear monthly owner statement from a named accountant, on a predictable calendar, every month.
These promises come from the five values this team works by: Caring, Curious, Coachable, Competent, Courageous.
