The Cambridge rental market, as we read it

Toyota's TMMC plant anchors employment here in a way that gives Cambridge a steadier, more shift-driven tenant base than either Kitchener or Waterloo. That sounds like a smaller job. It is a different one.

A Conestoga College campus and the Gaslight District have pulled activity back into Galt, where much of the housing stock is old stone and old brick. Maintenance on those buildings is planned work, not reactive work.

Cambridge is often priced as though it were an extension of Kitchener. It is a separate city with three distinct historic cores, and treating it as one market is how owners end up under-renting.
