Tell your tenant who manages their unit now

When KEILTY takes over a rental unit that already has a tenant, the letter introducing us should come from you, the owner. Fill in the details below, check the letter, download it as a PDF and email it to your tenant.

It works whether the unit was with another property manager or you managed it yourself. If your condo unit was managed by SIREG Management, its notice to owners asks owners, not property managers, to tell tenants who the new manager is. Read the SIREG owners guide.

Before you send it

  1. Your agreement with KEILTY is signed.

If it isn't yet, start with agreement details and we will prepare it for electronic signature.

  2. The previous arrangement has ended.

If another manager or company held the tenancy, ask your lawyer to confirm in writing that its role has ended, and to look over this letter once, since it tells your tenant the tenancy continues on its current terms.

  3. You have your tenant's details.

Their name, their email address, and the date their next rent is due.

After you send it

  1. Forward us a copy at ClientCare@KEILTY.com so we know your tenant has heard from you. We contact them only after you have.
  2. We confirm the tenant's details, the lease and any deposits, and tell them how to pay rent before it is due.
  3. If the unit is a condominium, we let the condominium's management know we now handle your unit. Then we take over rent collection, repairs and your monthly reporting.

Nothing you type on this page is sent to KEILTY or saved. The letter is built in your browser, and only the PDF you download leaves this page. This template is general information, not legal advice. KEILTY Realty Management Inc. manages individual rental units for their owners and does not manage condominium corporations.
