Where can you check whether Regus has a centre in Kingston?

Go to the operator first. We loaded the Regus Kingston page on 2026-10-01. It describes Kingston's business areas and invites you to request a quote, but its list of "nearby locations" does not include a Kingston address. The nearest centres it shows are in Ottawa, Gatineau and upstate New York, and some of them sit behind a "Load more locations" control. That list is Regus's to keep current, so read it there. The products on the page are listed as "Please call us" rather than with prices.

That matters because a search for office space in Kingston can still surface older listings. When we checked on 2026-10-01, the workspace listing site Office Hub still carried a Regus (Canada) listing at 310 Bagot Street, Kingston, badged 14 offices and priced from CA$227 a desk a month. A second operator, Seaway Coworking, is listed at the same address, which is itself a reason to call and confirm who you would actually be dealing with. A listing is not proof that a centre is open. Before you plan around any flexible office, call the operator, ask for the street address and book a visit.

Why do old office listings stay online?

Workspace listing sites and directories collect listings from operators and keep them live until someone updates or removes them. When a location closes, its page can stay indexed by search engines for some time, and an enquiry form on that page may still accept your details. There is nothing unusual about that; it is how online directories work. It does mean that the first result for "office space Kingston" is not always a place you can move into.

The fix is simple: treat any listing as a lead, not a fact, until you have spoken to someone who can show you the space.

What should you ask any flexible office provider?

These questions separate a good agreement from an expensive one. Ask them of every provider, including us, and get the answers in writing.

1. What is the all-in monthly cost, plus HST? Ask what is included and what is extra: parking, meeting room time, printing, coffee, after-hours heating and cooling.
2. What is the minimum term? Terms vary between providers. Ours is three months, then month to month.
3. How much notice is needed to leave? Ask for the number of days and whether notice runs from the end of a month. At KEILTY Workspace, either side can end the agreement on 30 days' notice after the first three months.
4. How does the fee change? Ask whether increases are fixed or tied to an index. Our fee increases by a fixed 3% on each anniversary.
5. How much is the deposit, and what happens to it? Ours is one month's fee plus HST, applied to your final month's fees.

How do you move from one flexible office to another without a gap?

Plan the move around notice periods, not around the day you would like to leave.

• Read your current agreement for the notice period and how notice must be given, then diarize the last day you can give it.
• Book your new office before you give notice, and ask for a start date that overlaps by a few days so your team is never without a desk.
• Update your mail and address arrangements. If your registered office, or any other information you have actually filed under the Corporations Information Act, is changing, Ontario corporations have 15 days to file a notice of change with the Ontario Business Registry. A business address that was never filed with the registry triggers no deadline at all. Section 4 (1) opens "Subject to subsections (2.1), (3), (4) and (5)", and one of those subsections is faster: where an extra-provincial corporation's appointment of agent filed under subsection 19 (3) of the Extra-Provincial Corporations Act changes in name, address or any other particular, or the agent is substituted, subsection 4 (2.1) requires the notice "forthwith" rather than within 15 days.
• Tell clients and suppliers your new address and phone details well before the move.
